We've been asked about this enough times that we wrote it down. Here's what happens at every step, and what you can expect from us.
Is the micro-task paid?
No. The micro-task is unpaid.
It's a 2–4 hour test to prove you can do the work. If your output passes, you receive the full paid brief. If it doesn't, we tell you why within 48h. No payment for the test — this is how we keep the quality bar high for everyone.
When does the POC get paid?
Within 5 business days of approval.
Once you deliver the POC and we approve it, payment is sent via bank transfer or PayPal within 5 business days. You receive a written agreement before starting — the amount, the deadline, and the approval criteria are agreed upfront.

How many revisions on the POC?
One revision. Then we decide.
If the first submission needs changes, we give specific feedback and one opportunity to revise. If the revised submission still doesn't meet the standard, the brief goes back to the pool and we part ways. We pay for approved work only.
What about ongoing projects?
Monthly. Invoiced on the 1st.
Ongoing maintenance contracts are paid monthly. You invoice us on the 1st of the month. Payment arrives within 5 business days. Contracts are 3-month minimum with written terms. You can scale your own team — we pay the agreed rate regardless.
